About Our Neighborhood

Why Canfield Ohio?

Why OUR neighborhood in Canfield?

Why OUR neighborhood in Canfield?

Welcome and thank you for visiting our neighborhood’s website. If you are considering becoming a neighbor we hope you find our neighborhood as quaint, friendly and well kept as we did when we first visited.

Canfield is an excellent place to live and raise a family! It was rated the 82nd best place to live in the United States by Money Magazine in 2005 and we believe it has only improved since!

The nearby City of Canfield has a tree-lined “Village Green” that sits at the heart of the New England-style village and provides a venue for a wide range of community activities.

Our development “The Cloisters at Ursuline” was first developed in the 1990’s and is very convenient to the area’s amenities and is minutes from shopping and schools with convenient freeway and turnpike access. It is located approximately 60 miles from Akron, Cleveland and Pittsburgh which provides 3 major airports and metropolitan areas.

The neighborhood is located in Canfield Township which boarders the small and charming city of Canfield. The children attend Canfield schools which rank “excellent” with the Ohio Department of Education. We have one high school and middle school along with two elementary schools within the district. We are very proud of the school district as it ranked 13th of 614 school districts throughout the state of Ohio. The athletic programs for the children are second to none as the local teams have won several state championships in football, baseball, and softball.

Our community which still has its agricultural roots is also home to Ohio’s largest county fair which is held each Labor Day weekend. It is a wonderful experience for kids of all ages and has attracted entertainers like Rascal Flatts, Brad Paisley, The Goo Goo Dolls, Bill Cosby, Hank Williams Jr. and Peter Frampton.
